Country cottage kitchen ideas
Jim Strickland composed the kitchen at left to have an enticing, familiar feel. The blue roof brings to mind an old patio, as do the windows bringing light over the counter.

Idiosyncratic lighting: The hanging apparatus over the pastry specialist's table, single pendant over the sink, and the divider sconces aren't a piece of a set. They're confounded and all around set for errand lighting exactly where it's required.
Metal stove protect: Instead of an ostentatious metal monitor or mass of coated tile, the proprietor utilized boards of material metal called Galvalume on the divider behind the reach. The steel shields the divider from singes and splatters, and it doesn't need to be painted.
